The church parish of Kirkdale comprises six civil parishes Beadlam, Nawton, Skiplam, Wombleton, Welburn and Muscoates.

St Hilda’s is the daughter church of St Gregory’s Minster and the parish is a Local Ecumenical Partnership of Anglicans and Methodists.

Harome Parish

Harome is a small village 2 miles South-East of Helmsley by the River Riccal.

The parish church is St Saviour's.

Nunnington Parish

Nunnington, with West and East Ness sit on the banks of the River Rye.

The parish church of All Saints and Saint James is in the village of Nunnington. 

Pockley Parish

Pockley is a small village 1 mile North-East of Helmsley.

The parish church is dedicated to St John the Baptist.
